They've stretched the whole "who is the Red Hulk" thing out so far that there is no way it could possibly pay off in the end now. I could honestly care less who it ends up being. Just because Loeb's "who is so-and-so" plot worked in a 12 issue Batman arc doesn't mean people are going to hang on for as long as you drag it out. There have been some okay stories out of it, but to STILL be using Red Hulk's mystery identity as a selling point has tempted me to drop Hulk all together. It's just not an interesting point anymore.
Except his identity isn't being use as the selling point for Fall of the Hulks or World War Hulks at all. The selling point is Inteligencia's plans and Banner's team trying to stop them. You could also just read Pak's book.
And it's Jeph Loeb, Greg Pak and Jeff Parker.

I am intrigued by the page showing the Torch walking the plank and The Blackbeard Thing from Doctor Doom's first encounter with the FF. I still think this event, though at times confounding, has been a lot of fun.
hereby nominate loeb to take over the x-franchise.
that is all.
