Preview show The Red Hulk get upperhand and send Colossus-Juggernaut flying. Then The Thing shows up and (Its Clobberin' Time) start Beating on Colossus-Juggernaut.

I think Gillen has a lot of love for the character but he's getting dictated to. Even for the purpose of making other characters look good, how do they look good beating a character who hasn't really done much of notice outwith dying since Claremont left the X-Books for the first time?

Would have been far more interesting to the plot and character if Piotr was killing Red Hulk and wrecking Utopia without giving a shit until Magik had to teleport him away.

In re to Wood, you're right, but at least he's already stated in a reply to my question that he's not gonna make Petey into a "da/nyet" Rooskie (Russkie isn't correct, btw). He didn't outright say it, but I think he intends to do more with Petey as a character than let him simply be background filler. But again, I could be totally talking out of my ass, cuz I really don't know. Meh...

If this keeps up with Petey and he gets back with dat ho Kitty, then I really, really wish Marvel would kill him off. This perpetual torture for Colossus fans is cruel.

He just means that is the visual sign that he is powered up, not that it gives him his power.

Given the transformative process of the Juggernaut helmet/power-up, I still feel Pacheco was taking some libery with the continuous loss of the helmet/carrying of the helmet.
It just doesn't make sense that it materialize in that way, but be so easily removed.
