KG, replied to my question and we have official confirmation that Colossus has his original power + Juggy's. This may make him the most powerful fecker in the Marvel U. Here's the post:

Me:Yo! We all know Colossus got an upgrade and is now the new Colossernaut. Does this mean his Juggernaut powers are in addition to his original mutant power? If yes, does this mean he can kick the crap out of Jesus and the Queen of England?

KG: For the former, Yes. For the latter, to be disclosed in the forthcoming COLOSSUS VERSUS JESUS AND THE QUEEN OF ENGLAND mini.

Awesome! exactly the question I wanted to ask.

Too bad this probably will end up bad for Colossus in the end though. They will have to strip it from him, but hopefully he will be left with some form of upgrade

Red Hulk vs Colossus incoming, if the ad for X-men vs Avengers can be trusted.

But can we expect Colossus getting a fair shake here?

Awesome. Most of us have wondered or posted the question. Now we know. Well done.

If I were to guess, I'd say they would pull off the draw. Red Hulk has been powered down, so really Colossus should win. I only hope that they take some time and show a good battle with these two. The battle between Venom and Colossus was a total dud, IMO.

I obviously can't speak to what may or may not happen with Petey during the Avengers Vs. X-Men epic (fail) series, but I have faith in KG to do right by him.

While Cyke's optic blast to Petey's helmet was lame at best, I think KG "gets it" when it comes to how bad-ass the new Colossus is/should be.

Aside from perhaps baby Jesus (and perhaps Howard the Duck), I can't see any reason why Petey would lose in a straight up brawl. Yeah, I know Marvel is Marvel and with Bendis (feh!) and Brubaker (meh...) penning some of this shit, we're bound to see some WTFeck moments with Petey. But...we're biased and some-what jaded Colossus homers. So, we can expect the worst and hope for the best. ;)

Mr. Gillen isn't involved in the Avengers vs. X-Men plot.

That was my bad. I should have better qualified my statement. I was referring to KG doing right by Petey in UXM. Thanks for pointing that out. :)

    But this is interesting: http://www.formspring.me/KieronGillen

Poster: Please say you'll be involved in avengers Vs. X-men in some way???

KG: Just to cut off the barrage in advance, I clearly won't be answering anything about AVX until after the conference tomorrow.

    So, I wonder what's up...

Well if there is a God or Higher Power or whatever, then Gillen WILL be involved in some capacity because I hardly trust Bendis and Fraction and these other Avenger writers to accurately protray the X-Men.

    Viva Gillen!

Edit: I hope to see Miss Rasputin as well. Please and thanks.

"And Thor will be up to some cosmic colossal shenanigans...there's a plethora, if you will, of great, great fights to write."

Emphasis added from the Avengers vs X-Men article

I translate this as "Thor is going to own Colossus"

I'm sorry to be so negative, but I am just going off of history, they are going to make a fool out of Colossus.

honestly, the tag team of the rasputins should manhandle thor.

one is a frieking sorcerer supreme

the other is probably the toughest being on the planet right now.

and they work really well together.

I want to see Red Hulk vs Colossunaut. If Thing and Cage want to get in on the battle, I'm ok with that too.

I sure hope so, but I'm reading up on this Red Hulk guy and the words "absolutely uninhibited, tactically intelligent" which worry me a bit.

But then again the Avatar of Cytorrak is essentially immortal, according to Marvel Wikia.com so there may be hope!

    I don't have faith.

If Colossus is the underdog, they use that as an excuse for him to lose.

If Colossus has the advantage, they use that to show that even this powerful guy can be defeated.

Either way, they make Colossus lose. Hell they even had Iron Fist beat him in Contest of Champions 2.

But it will mainly be him jobbing for the more popular character.

I feel your pain man, I have no faith that even Colossonaut is going to be shown in good light. More than likely he just stalemates Rulk and we see Thor swoop in and give both of them a whooping. Which makes no sense considering Cytorak has withstood the Godblast.
