I like how they're exploring his character at least its different but serious i have a feeling the juggernaut power wont be around much longer and we have seen 0000 impressive fights/feats from colossus so far besides his battering of kurth. Really??? I hope he gets plenty of time to smash as many avangers as possible before this is over.

So if Colossus is fighting, Red Hulk, Spider Man, and Thing ... does this mean he wins the first two? It seems these are the "side" fights too, while the more popular characters get to hog up all the space in the main story.

I didn't really have a problem with either issue. XM 26 has a ton of characters so no surprise Colossus didn't get a lot of time. Still he wasn't put down for the count and last we see him he's handling business. UXM 8 I found interesting. I hope they work more on the design of his darker side. This could be proof that he has not gone into full Juggernaut mode yet. Did you notice his uniform was a bit browner like the originall classic Juggernaut colors? That or those animals he squashed had brown blood.

I think this is a modern day telling of the Juggernaut story. Originally the character was a simple bully that didn't have a good or positive bone in his body. This Juggernaut is an artist who wants to be a hero but with a bloodline that has a dark past. Now more than ever I would like to see this character develop. I don't know if it'll happen, but I think it's interesting.

XM # 26 sucked for me in re to Colossus. He does one decent feat (taking out the tank), but then gets phased through by a nobody and is taken out of the action. We then see him in some dumb-ass NFL stance with hardly anything else. Uhhh...hello Cyttorak...? Care to remind Petey pureheart of the evil in him? Thanks.

UXM # 8 didn't do crap for me in re to Colossus. I agree w/Romus. Enough of the conflicted soul one liners from him. Give us carnage with action packed panels. I don't want to see what happened afterwards dammit. I want to see the action as it happens. Colossus smash!!!

Would love for this to happen! But on a serious note anybody have a theory on whats happened to Peter? Others have inherited the Gem of Cytorakk before, including the obvious Cain Marko and NOTHING even remotetly demonic/weird happened. Turning into a horned demon? WTF is going on?

I'm worried now Colossus will be scared to turn into Juggernaut and he get smashed by Rulk etc.... The avatar of Cytorak is supposed to make him look good!

You know, when I saw that, it reminded me a lot of Siege when the Sentry went batshit crazy, and the Void started taking over, and he started look like some hideously grotesque demon. It's got me a little worried because right after that is when they killed Sentry off, and I hoping that they're not planning on doing that with Peter. I can just see him losing control and turning into that gross horned demon looking thing, and ripping some superhero in half (just like Sentry), and then Thor or someone is going to have to put him down to save everyone else. If he get's killed off again, I will be pissed off to the highest point of pisstivity!

Question: I've seen a whole lot of buzz over the nerd-web (I say that AS a nerd, so let's not misinterpret that, folks) against Colossus's recent off-panel-Tabula-Rasa-Creature-Crushing.
The key point being that it happened off panel.

What say you, Organic Steel Enthusiasts?
Do you share this outrage? Does your imagination fail you where Land's pencils may have made you drool? Is the implication satisfying enough, seeing the spoils of his demon-charged carnage?

Personally, I felt it added gravitas to his current progressive condition, and in some cases --like this one-- I feel like the opponents (the creatures) wouldn't have provided as compelling a visual as say, facing off against the original Juggernaut (like in Fear Itself, which was way awesome)

4. I suspect Illyana will teach him how to suppress this new version. Hence why I think we'll only see him in regular Juggy form in AvX. And I agree with the prior poster who referenced the Sentry identity crisis fiasco.

I think you can see by some of these posts that most are ready for some good old fashioned visual carnage. The slaughter of those creatures was equivalent to Anikin Skywalker slaughtering a tribe of Tuskens. It was a huge deal. But for some (for most?), if they didn’t see it, it never happened. Still I thought it was done well and I was ok with it. Maybe a few more bits and peaces lying around would have been good. Especially when you see Colossus in his demonic form. Ultimately I think we’ll get our battle fix in AVX.

yeah, I'm really hoping that avsx becomes colossus' gauntlet to show off his strength , especially if he changes directions and makes a b-line towards the avenger's mansion to show them how it feels to be besieged. ;)

possibly with the soundtrack "any means necessary" by hammerfall in the background.

Oh yeah, and the answere is yes. He's a nice guy. Not likely to mess around behind her back. He has the smarts too. C will probably give him the old "if you ever hurt my sister" speech, but that's just his job.
