They're on the cover of the next issue together, so I get the feeling they'll be featured prominently in that one. We'll probably get a bit of Namor and Hope too since they were'nt featured in the las issue either.

@steve2275. ...Nice post Steve. I haven't bought the last two issues of Gischlers X-Men due to budget constraints, so thanks for sharing.

Since Fear Itself, Gischler has actually given Peter his best non-Juggernaut moments, showing that even in regular Colossus mode, he's still a high end powerhouse. Ironicly, Gischler also gave him what I think has been his lamest showing as the Juggernaut when he had him beating up the ankle of that Sentinel.

He does look pretty cool there, which leads me to ask..........

Who do the Colossus fans think drew or draws the best Colossus??

Yea, I can't say I was all that fond of his quips, during that arc. Something along the lines of "just passing through" when he busted into the Sentinel or something? Given his current attitude, it seemed odd.
But...how does one give depth to someone possessed right?

I've got a bias for Coipel's art in general so maybe I'm not best suited for Colossus specific selection. But he does a great job giving him a "softer" look when not in steel form, and he's always got that imposing larger build.
John Cassady did a fine job as well, in Astonishing. But I also enjoy Jim Cheung.

Heh. Yeah, that was pretty lame dialogue. Sounded like one of those catchphrases you'd hear in an Arnold Schwarznegger movie. I will say though, that I liked when he had Peter taunting War Machine after he had been smacking him around. That definitely sounded like it came from the Juggernauts influence, because Peter has never been the type to trash talk after a fight. Gischler has definitely been hit and miss with his characterization.

I'm with you in that I enjoy Coipel's art in general......and Cassady too for that matter. I dont think Coipel has much opportunity to draw Colossus, but the few times I've seen it, he does look pretty good.

Under Cassady, I though he had a good look to him, but I felt he never drew him quite tall enough or bulky enough.

With Cheung, I just cant get past how all his characters have the same face. All his characters look cute and cuddly. A little too cartoony for my taste.

I really liked Clay Mann's Colossus in those few issues of 'Legacy', and AoX. I would definitely like to see more Clay Mann Colossus.

Oooh yeah. Nice job going old school Romus. That's why I gave the option of "drew or draws".

John Byrne is definitely one of my favorite old school renditions of Colossus.

.....and Jim Lee one of my favorite renditions of the post Siege Perilous bigger and stronger Colossus.
