Thing better have help. If he's only fighting Thing, THAT will be pointless. I'd rather see Thing and Cage fighting Namor.

I read that these teaser covers most likely will not happen in the actual mini. So, don't necessarily expect Petey to throw down with Mr. Grimm.

I heard Namor is fighting Thing.

The drawing of the helmet sure are hit and miss. Some get it right, and some don't

I'm ok with the design of the helmet, but the shape looks a bit off, IMO. To get it right, really depends how the artist draws the characters upper torso.

I would rather see them tussle pre-Fear Itself (with a good reason to brawl, of course), so not too happy if this is the fight. I really dig the Thing, and I think after a long fight he would beat Colossus (normal class 100 powered), but if he somehow beats Peter with the upgrade, my fears will come true. Especially since Colossus with the power-up beat Kruuth (sp), and Thor more or less killed Serpent-powered Unca Benjy by willing Mjolnir back to his hand. But the cover could just be a variant. Trying to stay positive, I promise!

If he's at classic Juggernaut power levels, then he should easily be able to beat Grimm, should be able to beat Rulk but with much more difficulty, and should at least stalemate with Thor. Juggernaut beat the Thing with ease way back, would usually beat or either stalemate against the Hulk, and Thor could never beat him. He would just get tired of the back and forth punching and then just send Juggernaut off to space by opening a portal with Mjolnir.

It would be really cool the Juggernaut battling the Thing, Thor, and Rulk all at the same time. Kinda like in Secret Wars when Colossus was taking on the whole Wreckig Crew.

So far, of the limited number of artists that I've seen depict Juggernaut/Colossus, I have to say I like Lands version the best, followed by Pacheco. Land draws him appropriately huge for being a Juggernaut. Most of the other artists seem to pretty much draw him as regular size Colossus wearing Juggernaut gear.

Petey found himself a little slice of "nice" over in Uncanny this week, amidst the Montanna Horror left in Warren's wake.

It was a nice little moment for he and his sister, even if it did start out a little creepy with yet another demand to claim ownership of his sister.

Still....Illyana managed to give a little pep talk (well done I might add) and show big Bro that its not ALL about crushing and smashing and killing. Sometimes, its nice to smell the butterfly shaped roses, too.

    haha.

I agree, although I think he is bulkier overall. I am more concerned how they draw the helmet, because the proportions have to be right. It's too easy to make it look silly if they aren't careful. I thought Land a Pacheco have done it good so far.

I wouldn't mind seeing this scene, but since the last several issues have been disappointing, I think I will save my money from now on until something major happens. Tired of buying issues only to get 1 page worth of Colossus.

This arc is shaping up to be some fun stuff for each pairing.
Given how each pair has distanced themselves from one another, they inevitably have to get focus.
I'm thinking the 3rd part of this arc will focus on the Rasputins.
