You know it 's funny in the 90's I could easily tell Adam and Andy apart, and really only dug Andy. But with Ult. X-Men Adam's stuff looks so much like Andy it's amazing. AND GORGEOUS. My son just finished up reading Ult. X-Men through Ult War and I wound up looking over his shoulder at most of it. And Finch (who I really like even now) was a lot cleaner on his interiors than he was for Ultimatum IMO.

It's funny that you would say that, because I always felt like there 90's work was very similar looking, and when Adam left Wolverine and went to The Incredible Hulk, his style began to gradually change, and by the time he landed back on UXM in late ninties, his style was very distinguishable from Andy's. When you look at both of their work even now though, you can see their fathers heavy influence.

Adams Wolverine stuff always seemed to me to have kind of bulgy features to the characters, whereas Andy always felt more Lee influenced and streamlined. Just my thoughts. When I started with Ult. X-Men I thought it was Andy. so so pretty. But Adam's stuff in Ult had characters with eyes, so that was kind of the give away. Andy did a lot of narrow eye stuff, but I still dug the hell out of it.

Imma go home and read Legion Quest again

That double splash sold for $7000 IIRC.

Edit: Okay I can't find it now, so I could be way off. But I remember at one point it was on albert moy's site.

Ultimate Colossus and Logan were awesome. I loved how he had a crush on him.

Andy did have a heavy Lee influence as well, you're right. He was a big fan of a guy named Kevin Nowlan (who was not very prolific), and when he saw Jim Lee's work popping up regularly, it reminded him of Nowlans work, and thus had some influence.

Does anyone have a lead on who sells the Kubert's stuff? Moy sells Cassaday, Mann is on splashpage, and Silvestri has his own gig. I would love to see what (if anything) the Kuberts have up for sale.

Ooooo. And I'm ditching work May 15th because Adam Kubert and Jason Aaron are pimping Astonishing Spider-Man/Wolverine things near me

    Imma beg for a sketch.

It took my husband forever to figure that out. Even when Peter was curb stomping Magneto yelling 'NOBDOY HURTS WOLVERINE!!' it didn't click. I loved the panel after that where the x-men are just kind of sitting there jaws dropped.
