Maybe they need to hook the two up?

I never really had considered those two as a possible couple, but when you think about it, there have been quite a few instances between them that could be construed as flirtation. There may be a little bit of sexual tension. I could definitely see them as friends with benefits for sure.

Friends with benefits thing can surely work for the two of them. I can see Psylocke definitely being okay with it. Hell, she probably even offered pity sex.

Man, I like me some Psylocke.

That "How the hell should I know?". That's some classic Logan for ya. You gotta love that dialogue.

This issue that Talisman posted as his fave Colossus issue, is also one of mine too, but for different reasons. I liked it more as a classic Logan issue. I loved his dialogue with the Juggernaut at the end of it. It was simple, straight to the point and funny.

Just look at him in the background chillin with his brew.

Heh, yeah, I tend to like those two together. It's a shame Whedon didn't write more scenes with them two. It seems when you put those two together, you finally learn some things about Piotr. Logan seems to be like his page turner to his closed mind.

Agreed. Logan always gives Piotr the tough love approach. Where is that first image from btw? It's pretty cool. Ya gotta love the fastball special.

He drew Betsy's head weird. And that is the closest I will ever come to not complimenting him.

I object to the notion that Betsy is easy. She's just supportive of her teammates.
Your X-obsession is fascinating and almost commendable-bebopeva88.

Another moment in Whedon's run that I actaully cheered.

It seemed Whedon only got him for that and tried to write a story with him but even then he was pretty quiet and in the background while everyone else played center-fold.

Whedon himself even stated coming up with a voice for the character was really hard for him and he didn't quite get the character compared to everyone else.

Though I have to say this was one of my favorite Colossus moments by Whedon.

My problem with Whedon's writing of Colossus was his dialogue. He had him talking like Boris Badenov. "Katya! Is moose and squirrel!"

I've posted before about the Three Musketeers comparison. Colossus is the Athos of the X-Men, with Wolverine and Porthos, Nightcrawler as Aramis and Kitty as d'Artagnan. He's the laconic warrior-poet. A farmboy with a heart of gold and built like a brick outhouse. A gentleman, and a gentle man. But when he's pushed, or when the ones he loves are threatened, well, there's a reason that John Dryden wrote, "Beware the fury of the patient man."
