LOL poor Iron Fist. I love that Luke Cage died though. I wish 616 Colossus would replicate that scene with 616 Luke.

I would say he deserved that. But I wish writers would have him tell people off with words rather than always use his fists. For instance it was pretty awesome seeing him call Scott out on his BS when they were trying to get Magik out of Limbo.

I agree. While I'm not looking for him to become the "Sawyer" of the team, I would enjoy him cracking wise or calling BS a little more often. Every so often we get a little taste.

visually, i like jrjrīs incarnation the best. i really suits the stoic nature of the character.

characterwise, i was introduced to him in the 80īs. in meta sense it is some american arrogance, the poor russian farm boy introduced to the wonders of the infinte american dream, but i didnīt reflect that back then and just liked him as a guy with a heart of gold.

i think he was very sympathic at that time to teeanagers, cause he was the most naive on the team, being very relateable. his crush on kitty and the later confusion through secret war was the next step of 13 year old readers to 15-17 year old confused boys.

from the early 90īs on i am not sure about what to expect from this character. but what remains is that he is the rock in the flood (donīt know if that picture is familiar in english) and through all his confusions, heīll always be the incorruptible nice guy, a good friend, a big brother...

some might call this boring, i call it the pillar in the x-menīs big arcana

Well put. When you say you like JRJR's version best, are you refering to 80's or 90's JRJR?

That Fraction story focusing on him could have been great except he ruined it with that horrific tattoo, ugh.

Has he been shown with it since?

Heh, I remember finding this scene amusing, the tattoo part.

I don't think he's had his shirt off since. I hope artists just ignore it. But I guess we'll find out now that Kitty is back.

I get the feeling they have been deliberately not showing the tattoo, and hoping everyone else will just forget about it. Thats fine with me. I thought it was kind of lame too, but out of sight out of mind.

I think I've only seen the tattoo once. Don't quite remember how it even looks.
