It depends on the character. I don't really want to see Spider-man kick the crap out of women but then again I do love reading about quirky, interesting, sadistic women villians. If they create someone like Drusilla from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" or to a certain extent, Allison Reynolds from "The Breakfast Club", that would be fasinating.

I think Peter has a enough women troubles in his personal life let alone when he's Spider-Man.

The new scorpion isn't even a spiderman character, she just shared a name so they added tail. I thought she was more of a hulk, with the whole Bruce Banner is her father thing, or general purpose Marvel U character.

Just as long as it ends with Peter and Felicia vowing never to have sex with each other again. Sorry, but those two don't work for me. Given her history, I'll be amazed if Peter doesn't have an STD by the end of The Gauntlet!

Felicia is a responsible sexpot. She'll go all daredevil with her body for the thrill, but she's not about to sacrifice her vagina for a cheap woot. Gets regularly-scheduled check-ups and probably does background checks on her partners, cases them like she does a target penthouse apartment before robbing it blind.

Its what separates her from the low-life burglars.

Bringing back Menace, Paper Doll and Screwball? Not at all appealing.

Not that I have anything against Eddie Brock per se; it's just the original conception of Venom was far more well thought out and inspired a lot of sympathy.
They did that with Scream. They should just bring her back.

Indeed they did. However, I was referring more to the female character's reasoning for becoming Venom in the first place.
The loss of the unnamed woman's husband and child during one of Spider-Man's many public super-battles is a lot more believable and motivational than Brock's photo fraud and subsequent dismissal.
    In my opinion...

    I voted yes.
Is worth saying that Spider-Man have many Female Villains compared to other super heroes as#
    Menace.
    Paperdoll.
    Screwball.
    Lady Octopus.
    Stunner.
    Shriek.
    Scream.

All though as long as new female villains are interesting they should keep apearing in the Spidey stories.

back on topic i think spidey dorsn't need a women villann just for the sake of it but if theyt are a intresting idea for a villan then no reason for them not to be female.
i also agree that much more couldn be donen with paper doll

Yes, more female villains would be good. But they would all be playing catchup with.... WHITE RABBIT!

Historically they've been good together, this run not so much. The mask on don't look at my face thing has ruined any future romantic appearances in the gauntlet arc. But what do I know according to writers that frequent this thread, and also basing it on some responses in the letters sections from fellow readers, its because I'm offended by the sexual culture in todays world, I'm glad they've cleared that up for me sometimes I don't know myself like they do.
