    Default CBR: WC10: Geoff Johns

DC's Chief Creative Officer was in the hot seat as Geoff Johns spent an hour talking up the "Green Lantern" film, teasing "Batman: Earth One" and not answering questions about "Blackest Night #8." Plus: Larfleeze!

I don't want the New Gods to come back. Morrison already gave them a good send-off with Final Crisis.

Great panel and interesting discussion from Johns. Happy to hear Mera will be still appearing in books. I really liked her in Blackest Night.

Ditto. Never liked them to begin with.

I wish I could have made it to this panel; I had tons of embarrassing fanboy praise I would have spouted, but had to settle for a quick autograph at the signing booth.

And why wouldn't he answer what it's like to be the sexiest man in comics?

I'm actually interested if it's Grant Morrison's Multiversity that will include the New Gods, maybe?

And the New Gods weren't in Blackest Night because their bodies were just pure energy, and when they died their energy went back into The Source. I wonder if that was meant to be a question for a teaser.

Yeah, it's time for them to be reborn in the Fifth World.

Have you read the original Jack Kirby run? It's one of my all-time favorite comic runs (the entire Fourth World, that is).

    lol Cause he's not?

The overuse of Darkseid killed the New Gods. There was no reason to kill Barda and Scott

I have not. However, I've yet to read anything with them that I enjoyed, excluding Mister Miracle's JLI stuff, and Barda in BoP.

    You really think so?!

Hmmm. In all honesty, the bar for that title isn't exactly a high one...

The New Gods are awesome. I want them back!
