It must be wonderful that your significant one is also your partner in crime
Now I'm looking forward for an issue of Jonah Hex with Amanda's art!
A shame they're leaving Power Girl. I was really enjoying it. :( Now I bet the book's canned by #25.
I had no idea they were married, though I certainly suspected that some of the characters were based on real people. And now I know why Amanda does such a good job with that cat!
I'm really going to miss their work on this title. I also fear that it will be gone soon, but here is hoping that Mr. Winick manages to keep the spirit of PG going.
Not to slight their independent projects, but I was hoping to learn what Palmiotti's next big gig at DC is going to be. I read Hex each month and wonder why Palmiotti (and Grey) aren't given more high profile books with the upper tier characters/franchises. I think they are perfect for Batman and lots of others. C'mon DC, bump these guys up the ladder, why-dontcha?

Funny stories, great artwork...of course they were going to cancel Power Girl!! So much of the DC world is so lifeless, dull, serious....they finally get a story with life, humor and they don't even let it go to issue no. 25. I spent hours on PG...looking at all the background images...as a female reader the boobs never got in my way...however they were fairly...hmmm...big. That cat could have had it's own comic book with all the things he was doing in the background. Bought Sirens today as well....the anatomy was so bad...I was wondering if the artist had any background in drawing? Conner is one of the best animal comic book artist around.. There is no angle she can't draw. Check out her stint with that weekly paper comic a few months back featuring Supergirl, Speedy and Krypto....she drew them flying backwards, upwards...one panel featured the back of Krypto's head and it had more expression and life than most of the artists drawing the Batman books. The one scene with a crab dangling off of Krypto's mouth is priceless. Good luck on your next project...that special magical relationship amongst artist, writer, topic and superhero is so so hard to replicate.

I love their work together. It's awesome. I think it'd be perfect for Buffy: Season Nine when it comes out (a hell of a lot better than the bad artist they have now).
I just read their issues on Birds of Prey (with Terry Moore). The writing was mediocre (as Terry Moore always seems to me), but the art was stellar.
Conner/Palmiotti are one of the few artist teams whose names alone make me pick up a book.
