I saw that there were threads like this in both the DC and Marvel Universe forums so I thought it might be interesting to combine the two and see what posters top 10 favorite characters are from either company or even from independent publishers. They can be heroes, villains, or irate newspaper publishers, if they merit your top 10 then tell us!

1. Howard the Duck-Timeless

2. Old Lace- Took Jurassic park flavor where the Savage land never could.

3. Beak- Great Character Development

4. Sentry-Not only does he make a long lasting impact on the Marvel universe, he does not look like a Superman rip-off at all.

5. Squirrel Girl- The underdog with a bushy tail, she is the cinderella story that reminds us why we got into comics.

6. She Hulk- because ripping off interesting male Characters makes for original female ones.

7. Doop- Absolute Proof of Marvel's creativity.

8.Beta-Ray Bill- because Thor wasn't enough.

9. Spider Woman- (see She Hulk above)

10. Elektra- The film, that should have won an oscar, made me realize how this character was meant for something bigger.

1. She-Hulk -- I just love me a goofy green giantess, who's also a bit of a whore.

2. Batman -- Have to respect the man with no powers, who can take out all the powered folks through careful planning

3. Bane -- Gail Simone's Secret Six has done a lot to make him interesting. He's a moral compass on a team of villains, but that doesn't make him the weakling either.

4. Colossus -- Saw him as a kid and thought he looked cool, it's a shallow reason to like a character, but that's that.

5. Catwoman -- A character who has had a lot of good twists and turns, miss her solo-title.

6. Deathstroke -- A lot of people hate Identity Crisis, and that is fine, but that is still a hell of a fight scene.

7. The Punisher -- Not Frankencastle or any of the newer MU stuff, but the old 80's and 90's War Journal character.

8. Doctor Doom -- Oh what an ego!

9. Darkhawk -- Maybe it's just the costume

10. The Hulk -- sometimes you just have to appreciate brute power!
