I Just can't help but still be bummed that Yost is leaving....
Hmm...and maybe a tiny fraction for the occasional interplanetary or extra-dimensional jaunt, as well.
Actually, there is a whole virtual realm I want to develop down the line that involves Grant's "ubernet" idea for the Secret Society
Huh? I know Ra's pushed Talia to Bruce in the past, but I don't recall him doing something like that with Tim.I think Chris created a very interesting dynamic. The über-villain whose mission is to get the main star of your book laid. Creates quite the moral conundrum for Tim, doesn't it [laughs].
Tim Drake/Wayne: PIMP.Does he want to continue his recent relationship with Tam Fox or maybe get back together again with Stephanie, who is in a great place now as Batgirl?
Oh, that reminds me--I wonder if he'll keep calling himself a Wayne, or will he go back to Drake?
But anyway, I'm really interested in this--can't wait.![]()
Loved Nicieza on Robin. Yost has been good on Red Robin, but if anyone has succeeded Chuck Dixon as Tim Drake's best writer, it's Nicieza.
Oh, The "unternet" that Grant created.
Kurt used that in his Superman run. Neat idea.
"You can't trust them as poets either. The true poet is anonymous, as to his habits, but these boys have to look, act, and apparently smell like poets"
Flannery O'Connor on the beats.
I'm excited. Here's hoping he can use his stint on the book to get Azrael some attention.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: Fabian writes it, I buy it.
This just in: Chris Sprouse has pulled out of Orson Scott Card.
While I didn't care at all for his "revamp" of Anarky, I did really like his Robin run overall.
Looking forward to this.
It seems the series is going to be, I don't know a little less focused? I mean, with the first year it was "BRUCE WAYNE ALIVE, LETS DO THIS!" now that we're moving away from the original purpose of the series, Nicieza is going to have to climb up hill a bit. I'm optimistic though.
Very pleased with this; the best of the old and the best of the new.
Great interview.
I'm still a little bummed about Yost leaving, but I've been a Fabian fan since his X-Men days, before I really became "creator aware".
He sees Tim Drake pretty much the same way that I do, which is always a good situation when it comes to your favorite characters/titles and puts my excitement level for this through the roof.
I am a little sad to see Yost leaving the title, but if anyone should be following him it is Fabian. I dont think I've ever read anything by him I didn't like or at the very least appreciate.
Also glad to hear that Marcus is staying on board.
Not all who wander are lost....
