Thanks to Charlie for his hard work, some Charlie appreciation on the Amora Appreciation page, I'm sure she appreciates it.
Amora reminds me of characters of Ranma 1/2. The writer has made it known she like characters who are not perfect and has mixed personality traits (positive and negative).
From the Ranma 1/2 wiki:
Thing is with most Ranma fans I know, they either focus on the negative aspects of the character or the positive aspects and not the mix of the two too much. Similar to Amora, except she's either a villainess or a sort of anti-hero then a pure and virturous character.Rumiko Takahashi herself has described Ranma's personality as a mixture of nice, clean-cut, frank, energetic, indecisive, stubborn, picky, stingy and sly, and has stated that she finds flawless characters rather boring.
Just some thoughts, not sure how to continue...

A rather curious definition that I had never crossed for my mind.
Well, Amora began in another way like the Black Widow (both characters were born in the same period of time), Lee and Kirby created the character as an evil asgardian sorceress but with some behaviors that made her seem more human except when she is dealing with her fellow partner Skurge, that contrary to what some Marvel women was seen sometimes in the sixties, Amora had a strong personality, was the boss and who gave the orders, which decades later during the Walt Simonsonīs run, we saw a Skurge as a strong warrior, worthy and loyal than he was before, and we saw a more complex Amora far from her Thor obsession admitting to Heimdall that she loved Skurge after his death but she was never able to tell it to her partner, as it would have been to admit she has a weakness, little to little, Amoraīs personality was changing after that so hard and tragic situation.
The Black Widow considering she was a Russian spy, double agent and all that, at first she seemed to be a villainess but not in the same way as Amora, we all know how evolved the character of Natasha Romanova until becoming a heroine.

Me too, I quite like it, the truth is that there are many drawings of Amora always very affectionate though personally I like when she shows value in fighting.
At the moment, I donīt have more pictures to put, her appearances in the Defenders, I think is so difficult to find them and when she faced Dazzler, I think there are a few some pages further back in that thread, there are also some pics on the Internet but are not too good (there are exceptions) though I found these two of Michael Avon Oeming which I found quite curious.

Iīm recognize that searching on Internet, there are a lot of drawings of Amora, actually I was very surprised to find so many and of all types and I think it shows that many people knows the character and love her, I do not think that means that she is quite popular, I wish she will be so popular as she could be, surely we would see much more of what we have seen over the years and especially that these appearances makes justice to her.
And three of World-Engine storyline outfit

For those who care, the next episode of Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes is entitled "Acts of Vengence" and features Amora seeking revenge against the Masters of Evil who betrayed her in the Season One finale.
For those who don't care - never mind, nothing to see here!
