In the end, it appears that Mighty Thor#14 will be released on May, 23, it is curious that on the website of Marvel say that will out on May, 9.

Well, perhaps in this issue continue to focus on Thor and those strange beings more than on Donald Blake and Amora, precisely what I have more desire to see, more Amora and less Thor.

It double ships next month 15 and 16 with a Thor annual but I don't think the annual is part of this story

True, it is the next month when will be released two issues of Thor, the annual does not have anything that to see on the current story of Mighty Thor, is a history written by J.M.DeMatteis and there arenīt nothing nor will be anything of Amora the Enchantress in it.

'Thor caught in a war of eons between two cosmic entities! Can even Galactus and the Silver Surfer tip the balance? An eternal game for the fate of the universe enters its final match, with Oblivion himself ready to take the prize! '

I think we did that a few months ago. Anything with the term 'Cosmic War' that is done in one issue is never going to be that great

Well, but is very different reading it from a writer like J.M.DeMatteis who knows what he does and has done very good stories in the past, but is the first time I see him in something cosmic when his specialty was another, at least, compared to Matt Fraction and his Galactus and Silver Surferīs story, probably we will read a good story, I suppose.

Anyway, for that the thread does not fall into an off-topic, since, anyone will discuss about the story when is released next month, we could use it to talk about if Amora the Enchantress has appeared in some cosmic history, now, I donīt remember anything in all her appearances in the Marvel Universe, unless the Secret Wars can be considered as such.

I asked a question to Tom Brevoort again in his formspring page, this time about Lorelei, but unfortunately there is nothing about her at the moment.

Too bad, the character has been missing from 10 years ago with the good potential she had and she was a great character who was at Walt Simonsonīs run (Beta Ray Bill and even Malekith were more lucky than the poor Lorelei that was ignored totally), but the next writer, DeFalco wrote her, terribly bad, her last known appearance in Marvel continuity was on Defenders by Busiek and Larsen and then, on Loki first miniseries but what happened in this miniseries did not enter into any kind of continuity and she only appeared in a couple of panels in one of the 4 issues (specifically the first of them).

Opportunities for see Lorelei again, there are many (to me, now I can think of a lot of ways to see her) the question would be how to do and how to use her. Amora the Enchantress deserves to be treated fairly and with more respect by Marvel writers, but her sister Lorelei, also deserves a little more of love.

I guess for the moment, we must enjoy what we can of Amora in the recent history of Mighty Thor and Sylvie Lushton on Avengers Academy when she appears.

Amora's a character I'm pretty fond of. I really hope we see her in Thor 2. She could be pretty instrumental for Loki to get back at Thor.

I hope so too, but you never know, meanwhile, is still no news of the sequel, we can only speculate about what characters can appear, but the Enchantress should be at the top of the list. I would feel quite disappointed if she is not in the movie.

He was kind of like the TV Star Trek red shirt crew members. He fulfilled his purpose.

True, if Amora had left him to continue, Thor would have had a serious problem in this case, she did what she saw more opportune, I think it is the first time she kills someone (well, was in an off-panel), but sometimes I think, that if she decided that someone had to die was because she thought it was necessary or because she have no choice.

i hope amora shows up, with lots of sexy manipulation- but her magic powers should be showed and formidable. If they include the angle of Idunn and apples preserving her youth.. hmm...

Also I hope it, though, Are you talking about the sequel to Thorīs movie or the comic?

If you talk about both, I agree, although in the comics, considering what Fraction usually done with the characters he use, I donīt expect too much of it, he does not seem to respect the rich story of the characters, he makes up too much, the characters donīt look the same we all know and the stories start well but then, he donīt know how to continue or finishes all in an abrupt and incoherent way.

As for the movie, there would be nothing wrong with what you mention the Idunnīs angle and the apples and in an equal way to include the young Lorelei as a counterpoint to her older sister.

Amora the Enchantress is not an ordinary witch nor as bad and evil as she seems, is a proud woman, strong, intelligent and tough but also romantic, charismatic and sensible able of doing good things and bad things, and these characteristics should not be forgotten but should be strengthened and improved without forcing things.
