Luke Cage coming for him makes sense. Could be New Avengers vs. The Hand (again) but this time lead by Daredevil. Might as well through in the real Elektra and have Bendis/Maleev recreate those issues with her too.

It would have been nice if there was a word or two concerning de la Torre's absence and when he'll return, for he has been the must buy reason for this title since Bru and Larks departure moreso than anything else. This isn't to say the present creative team hasn't been very imressive so far, of course.

505 was the best issue in a few months, so I'm game to see him in the co-writer gig.

Even better than 504? Art and everything in mind? Surely you jest.

At the very least DD's efforts will only serve to fracture the Hand causing a civil war within the organization. One part siding with Matt the other remaining true to the old ways.

Actually, it was. It was the freshest DD issue i've seen in some time - most likely due to some new characters finally showing up.

Yeah, I was talking about the writing specifically, but the art was fine with me. The writing was great.

I didn't like it too much for it seemed to focus more on Bakuto's umpudence and malcontent in favor of Matts mission to unit the Hand. Next issue, again, will probably focus on who ordered the attack on Bakuto rather than what Matt is actaullt there to do in the first place.

I thought I read somewhere that Roberto would return after this arc.

I'd like to know what's going on with de la Torre, too (and put that question to Newsarama's latest "Ask" column), but I also agree with you that Checchetto's stuff has be solid. Those preview pages look especially fantastic.

I think its refereshing to see new artist, writers after so many issues with the great art of Lark,Bru writing.

Diggle is very good fit. Interesting to see what this writer can do on his own.

Definitely. I have to say, though, that Chechetto's artistic success in remaining germane to the established style and tone the book's been thankfully embellished in for years has to be greatly attribited to colorist Matt Holingworth. His efforts above all else have kept the book as consistent as one possibly could with given the noticebale difference in styles between de la Torre and Chechetto.
