Thanks for the feedback, A4 seems to be the top choice by most people. I guess we have a winner, soon as i'm done with a commission i'm working on i'll try doing a finished illustration featuring it!

I really like the version of supergirl that is in the comic book cover mockup.

I love the captain marvel costume with the padded armor on the arms and the white pants, but the grey pants don't work for me.

I have disliked the superman redesigned because the color breakpoints / boundaries look more silly than the shorts. In particular, I think the red trim on the legs and knees of the last batch ... it just doesn't work. Its like Tron and not in a good way. No offense is intended, its all just a bit awkward.

The cap and sg tho, the ones I mentioned above, nice ideas.

That's an idea, thanks. One of these days I'll get around to actually doing some finished art using this design.

I have to say, I do prefer it when costumes look like clothes rather than paint.

I like it better when the costumes look like paint, and the muscles and veins pop out everywhere. It just looks better to me.

It's comic books, not real life. It's art. Screw practicality!
