I've never read Magnus, Robot Fighter before, but I've read about it and I've always loved the concept. I'm very much looking forward to free comic book day now!
Valiant had one of the best line ups of the 90's. Can't wait to see what Shooter and the crew put together. Off the scale excited. Valiant still has some of the stories I remember most fondly from back then.
Nice to see you bringing back two of my favorite Valiant characters of all time. And you're doing it through Dark Horse, one of my favorite companies of all time!
I'm excited and can't wait to see what's in store for us.![]()
Couldn't be more excited for these books!
I hope Shooter has a nice long run on these titles. I'm looking forward to this quite a bit.
"I want to see beautiful people doing amazing things." - Grant Morrison
man, i've been wanting to see these characters brought back for such a long time now.
Particularly Doctor Solar.
Finally a relaunch.
This isn't the first time we've seen modern versions but in this day and age, modern meaning dsyfunctional personality along with a neverending lust for blood and gore. Well thats what it means in the DC and Marvel worlds anyway.
Very excited to see these two brought back. Could Turok be next?
Too bad we will probably never get remastered trades of the Gold Key characters from Valient like the Harbinger, X-O and Archer & Armstrong ones...not even sure who would own the reprint rights to those now, DH or Valiant?
If anyone is interested in the other Valiant titles from the 90s (possibly the best collection of comics ever produced) check out this site by the group that purchased most of the rights back a few years: http://www.valiantentertainment.com/
VALIANT, Saga, Manhattan Projects, Locke & Key, Hawkeye, Young Avengers.
Yes, Turok, please!!! That would be AWE-some!!
I'll, no doubt, be picking this one up May first. Solar is my favorite of the two, but I'd be excited to read anything from Shooter. I really hope the entire line is reinvigorated succesfully, and that the Gold Key heroes become a major force in the industry again.
