I'm getting excited for this series. These new heroes look cool and I can't wait to see Brit lead them into battle. I just wish there would've been another established hero on the team (i.e. I was REALLY hoping to see the Astounding Wolf-Man on here).

Not all the heroes on the team are getting promos. We could still easily see that Wolf-Man's joined up. We know Bulletproof is in the book, but there's no ad for him so far.

(I actually have a theory that Wolf-Man may be one of the ones going into space in Invincible proper, but who knows.)

I don't think we will be seeing any information about wolf-man's future until that series is over.

i dunno, ive said it before im gonna say it again here, so far these characters are wildly dissapointing. Ive always felt in my gut that Invincible was sort of a "Ultimate Superman/Superboy" storyline but the story was different enough and written so well that it didnt bug me, its infact one of my fave titles.
THAT being said this line up is kind of a let down, A boomerang guy a speedster and now sasquatch? i mean Yeti? theres so many good invincible characters like the robot and the monster girl and on and on and on, this just seems lame as hell (with the exception of brit). Honestly ill buy it and i expect ill enjoy as i enjoy kirkmans writing, but i feel a bit let down by what im seeing so far.

Wow, the last two promos have been pretty wacky adventures in attempts at foreshortening. Maybe its just cause the characters are shown against a white void instead of in context...

That said, I'm down for this. I like the idea of adding some new characters to the Invinci-verse. I'm with whoever said they want to see the astounding wolf-man in this book. That would be great.

Honestly a lot of the Invincible characters are riffs on already existing hero types and power sets.

Imagine if they added Rex-Splode to this line up for the first time in these teasers. People would think he was stupid and a Gambit rip-off, right?
    Dupli-Kate
    Shrinking Ray
    Robot
    Darkwing II
    etc.

I'm more than willing to wait and see what Kirkman has up his sleeve.

Even if it all looks a bit silly in these teasers, I am willing to give Kirkman the chance to entertain me, which is something that he has never failed to do...at least so far.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

And either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives.

Agreed, and it is more new reader friendly if you can look at a character and recognize its archetype. That combined with the Avengersesque riff immediately lets you know alot about the characters and the team.

I sure hope that we get Robot, Monster Girl, Bullerproof and all the other old favorites as well....

Except I'm willing to give these new guys a chance!

Captain Kirk hasn't let me down!

    Hehe Captain Kirk.

I applaud Kirkman for adding new heroes instead having a team full of the old ones in Invincible. Like Dave H says they are riffs on others powers wise.

Yeti with a secret is more interesting, fresh, powers wise.
    Pull List:
    The Walking Dead,Fatale,Near Death,Storm Dogs,Happy,BPRD,XO-Manowar
    American Vampire,Animal Man,Swamp Thing
    Daredevil, Winter Soldier,Indestructible Hulk

The thing about Kirkman and his characters is it really isnt about the powers.... its all about the characters personality and attitude.

Yeah, the multiple other Sasquatch characters in Image books are just regular brown ones. This is a Yeti. That means it has white hair instead.

must say Yeti is at the moment the most interesting character for me in the guardians of the globe. Excited to see how they will write him in the book.
