Wow. Is that the current Batwoman design applied to Batgirl? Guess that's where it came from. I remember reading that Ross was a huge fan of the Batman Beyond design. He said he would have used that in Kingdom Come had he seen it earlier. Of course I love his Kingdiom Come Batman design, so i'm glad he didn't. Funny enough, Batman Beyond used the Kingdom Come design in an episode. So the appreciation of design goes both ways.

Yeah, it's true - DC were thinking about brining Barbara Gordon back in the cowl, scrapped the idea and reused the costume for Kate Kane (Batwoman).
The good thing to come out of it all was Alex Ross' design.
