I haven't liked Chris Evans in anything he's been in, and I doubt he'll be a good Cap. But I'm gonna wait to see the movie, he might surprise us.

He was a good Johnny Storm, could have been a great one if the material had been there for him.

As to whether he can play Steve, I don't know, but compared to some of the other candidates on the list, I'd much prefer he get the chance, if it's true.

He was good in that Not Another Teen Movie.....Not sure how I feel about him playing Cap, but definitely better than a lot of the other potential candidates. I still think an unknown would be best....Otherwise you won't see AMERICA, you'll see that one actor who was in Fantastic Four, or the Fast and Furious guy.....Someone new would let the character shine through......although good luch just randomly finding some unknown guy who could act alongside RDJr.

I can't say that's what I want to happen, but I'll still look forward to the movie.

He's lightyears better than beady eyed, mush mouthed, Channing Tatum.

    lol Like you're not one.

I'm not sure how I feel about this if true. I do like Evans though, so maybe.

Evans sounds better than some of the selections I have heard so far.

If this is true at least they picked somebody. Every time they eliminated one name it seemed that they added two more to the mix.

Should be good. He does have the look. Rough his face up to show a weary soldier and buff him up , and he can do it.

The question Im wondering is Captain America's personality going to resemble his 616 counterpart or will it follow closely to the Ultimates version since most of the Marvel films follows closely to the Ultimate material

Er, no it doesn't. It uses some stuff, but it's mostly 616.
