God damn it, it seems like they're just going to revert Zemo back to "I'm my father's son and i hate Captain America!".

Seconded. I wish they'd stop undoing all the good stuff from Thunderbolts.

The colouring/inking of Ross' art looks better in those preview pages than in the last two.

The more I hear about Brubaker's plans for Zemo, the more I dislike them.

    Amen.

...his family's honor will not be besmirched.

But the big change that drives him isn't something that he did, but rather Bucky's return from seeming death. Once he becomes aware that the man currently serving as Captain America is the man his father was supposed to have slain, Zemo takes up the cause with incredible vigor.
I'm rather astounded by how logical Marvel seems to think this Zemo turn is.

trifecta. Hopefully there's a better explanation for Zemo's 180 turn other than "Oh look, the kid sidekick my daddy killed is still alive. Guess I should say "screw this" to my path of redemption so I can go finish what dad started."

At least Sandman had the excuse that his old partners in Frightful Four brainwashed him into returning to evil

Zemo is a Villain and always will be. What I hate is when villains try to be heroes, as in real heroes, not fake posturing heroes.

Make him evil as evil can be I say.

And thus the minority, that which cares not for character development, has spoken.

Personally, I'm at a loss as to how 'My Dad was supposed to kill you, but failed now I have to!' is an interesting motivation.

Frankly, Zemo's current motivation of 'I'll save the world whether you like it or not' is far more interesting. All it takes is effort.

For me though The Avengers should save the world, not Zemo. And matter pertaining to the family can cause people to snap. I never liked Zemo as a hero anyway.
