Huh, wow, his art is really something. I never expected that I'd like him as much as I do.

    Hellboy on Fin Fang Foom!

    My jaw literally just dropped.

Interestingly enough I also just "realized" today that I have a comic drawn by Duncan and written by Steve Niles. Its part of Marvel's Monsters on the Prowl mini-series and has the Hulk and The Thing fighting a whole bunch of Kirby monsters.

That's cool that you have Giant-Man in that photo, he's in that same comic.

I didn't know where to put this so I'll put it here. I don't know if anyone has seen it but I thought this quote was kinda funny...

    ST: What's your dream project?

DF: I have absolutely no idea. The problem is I would love Matt Groening or Paul Dini and Bruce Timm (for example) to call me up and say, "We absolutely need you on Simpsons/Futurama/Batman etc.", but why would they? They can draw it themselves! I love Hellboy, but I don't want to see me draw it, only Mike Mignola! Of course If Spielberg or Lucas need my help, I'm there! I do see myself transitioning into films if the opportunity arises.

I know Duncan Fegredo is finishing with the ongoing Hellboy saga soon (Man, only 3 issues to go!). I'm obviously excited that Mike Mignola will be drawing again, but I'd hate to see Duncan depart from long-form Hellboy stories altogether. With Richard Corben churning out new Hellboy shorts like a machine and now with Scott Hampton as a part of the team (assuming he continues on after The Sleeping and the Dead) there will be more than enough Hellboy shorts and short mini-series. I'd really like to see Duncan do 5, 6 or even more multi-issue stories about a pre-1994 Hellboy. And I certainly want to see that giant cow ghost mentioned in The Hellboy Companion.

^I believe they've already said that they're keeping Duncan on in much the same capacity as Corben is now.

Here's some pics Duncan Fegredo just posted on Twitter:

Heres the one drawing I made on vacation in Kefalonia, ... it's a bit wobbly!

Of course it these days it always comes back to Hellboy... Inked the pencils pretty much all in brush, great fun as it was just playing around.

He also posted the first half of Dakness Calls issue 4's layouts.

    The first one is awesome!

I'd love to see it finished.
