Marvel comics has unveiled the second student to enroll in Christos Gage and Mike McKone's "Avengers Academy," with a McKone illustrated teaser featuring another new character, Striker. School is in session in June.

They should have hyped/teased up this book off with the teachers or something.
Cause trying to hype/sell a new book with unknown characters. Especially unknown characters with these boring and uninteresting designs... yeah.
Not really screaming a must read. Granted, if they would have tried to hype the originall A:TI on it's new students, it would have been meh also.

I think it's a mistake to put new characters out there in this way. Especially when Marvel has a HUGE roster of unused characters they could be using instead.

Well I'm officially more interested in this book than any other one in the Avengers lineup. This is new and has potential to be exciting. I expect this thread to be as stupid (if not more so) than yesterday's.

OMG! A comics with character who have not been created 45 years ago and who don't already appear in 1, 2 or 6 other titles! How dare you, Gage?
I'm pleased that the teasers go with new characters instead of revealing the so called true Avengers from the cast (probably Tigra and Justice), who are already known anyway.
