I just got around to seeing the last episode and man was it awesome. I'm continually amazed by how great the settings are, Quarth and Harrenhal totally blew me away.

Harrenhall is pretty much as I pictured it....just a physical manifestation of despair

That's not possible. Rhaegar was married to Elia Martell, and had two children with her.

Targaryens practiced polygamy in the past. Rhaegar could have easily resurrected that tradition.

Nah, the guy who made it has political leanings, so it would seem forced if he didn't include the bush one after the rest of it.
The ned one was the one part i actually laughed at, when it showed it to someone it took them a minute to get it, and then they laughed. Which i take as a sign of something that took a little effort.

I meant it was unfair to Dany that she (or anyone, really) was compared to Sarah Palin. I'd say it was unfair to Renly as well, but everyone loves a good "secretly gay" joke.

Only "poison water". Anyway, the Quartheen only heard about Dany's dragons because her bloodrider told them. Once word has reached the city, I'm sure it will spread, though.

Harrenal looked a bit too much like it belonged in Mordor, in my opinion. From the way it appeared, it's hard to imagine that a great tournament was ever held there.

Cut 'em some slack, especially on the last one. It'd be like expecting people in medieval England to believe some sailors story about monsters in Egypt.

Seems to me like that implies she has no claim to the throne of her own.

Or it implies that a boy is more threatening. In Dance of Dragons, Tyrion can be quoted saying that a male Targaryen heir would have a better claim than Daenerys. He wouldn't say "better" if she had no claim.
