    DC Comics' official blog, The Source, has unveiled an advance look at Geoff Johns and Francis Manapul's highly anticipated new series, "The Flash," releasing the first five pages of of the title's first issue set to debut April 14.

    I'm totally not buying this as I don't care about the character at all, but I LOVE the art!
    No one responds to street art anymore.
    People tend to respond to things like loaded guns in their faces.

    That and celebrity spokesmodels.

    (Also, being the Flash, he doesn't need or want to use abbreviated spelling when text messaging.)
    The Silver Age is roughly 1954-1971.
    The Bronze Age is roughly 1971-1986.

    The nineties are not the Bronze Age!

    I like what I see.

    It looks like Barry has picked up texting fairly quick. I hope he doesn't get addicted to it. It's bad enough people text while driving, but I imagine you could get lost in any number of time periods if you're distracted by a text.

    I'll definitely be picking this up. I love Francis Manapul's work. And Geoff, too. But that's a given at this point.

    This looks.... sweet. As in "Cute Overload, puppies and kittens and adorable stuff" sweet.

    One thing that has ALWAYS charmed me about the Flashes -- (nearly) all of them -- is their relationships with their significant others. Jay with Joan, Barry with Iris, Wally with Linda... it's just really touching -- and something that I think helps them stand out from the crowd among other superheroes.

    That's some really good art. I like the fact that Barry spells "ou" correctly, and doesn't just use "u".

    The art from Francis Manapul looks really good, i think i will pick this up. Also because i'm looking forward to Johns writing on this title.

    I'm sure Wally, and probably the other speedsters like Max Mercury and Jesse Quick, will get an All Flash book if this relaunch goes well. So pretty much its looking like Wally's future rides on Barry's success lol.

    Looks fantastic, I'm going to have to drop one of my DC books to fit this is but this shouldn't be a problem (looks menancingly at Outsiders....)
