I don't think it's ever been explicitly stated, but there have been many hints over the years that he knows. He just doesn't care. He knows Batman is the real identity, and Bruce Wayne is the disguise.

And besides, if he attacks and kills Bruce Wayne while he's unaware, or just destroys his life, their 'game' will be over in an anticlimactic way he doesn't want.

Unless you ask Grant Morrison. Than, Batman and Bruce Wayne are the same person and there is no difference.

    Not to me

I think the Joker either doesn't care about his identity or would only use it against him in a very painful way (like in Batman Beyond)

He's likely to forget it in his daily re-writting anyway
Has to remember his suggestion for the traitor game

Which I think is a ridiculous take. I like the idea that Bats is the real identity and Bruce the mask, as opposed to Clark being the real identity and Superman being the mask. Further cementing the dichotomy of the two characters.

    When it Morrison state that?

    His work demonstrates otherwise.

He specifically said that in the "Big Three DC nation" interview back when OYL later was starting....

His take was made to promote the character as mentally healthly indisvisual, who instead of fracuring his personality or becoming crazy when his parents died...Drew strength from the tragedy and became a stronger person... That the whole "vigilante mission" is a device used to keep him sane...

His Bruce Wayne for the most part isn't an act...Just Batman in a different enviorment, hence "James Bond-esq" Bruce Wayne that jumping off planes on to Mountains, base jumping for charity, whose darkside ...
All stories are imaginary, so you get to decide what's important and what isn't. Continuity is fluid.

I think the whole 'lets divide super heroes into a real and fake personality,' is ridiculous in itself.

Morrison established that he doesn't care who batman is. Thats why he kept saying Batman shot him even though Bruce told him numerous times he didn't.
