When Tezca and him met in the woods Tezca used a focused solar beam on him that scorched off part of his face.

The fire effect is coming out of the scorched part.

I'm starting to get a silly Naraku vibe now.

Next the Kishin is going to spawn a clown that has his "soul" in it so that even if you seal the body the Kishin is still out there.

New chapter is out. It's a good one.

We get to meet two new interesting characters. The old lady meister that's strong enough to fight without a weapon is badass and the belly dancer meister is hot.

The fight coreography is really good and Stein gets to own some clown ass.

So yeah I caught up with both the main series and Soul EAter not today and god did I miss it. SEN has lived up to its bigger brother, though not as an action title but a more day in the life prequel fashion. What does everyone else think of the spin-off?
