Should a "filler" episode taking place after the end of the first
series be done in such a way that it could dovetail with where the
manga had been cut off?



What do you think?

I'm not sure what you mean. The anime killed off the series major villains and drastically changed characters and events in order to provide a satisfactory conclusion, the only way it could be tied back into the manga is if everything after the cutoff point was retconned somehow.

Didn't those two meet just recently in the manga? It didn't seem to result in anything in particular.

Do any of you think they should do a second Soul Eater anime series to adapt the rest of the manga?

Never seen her in what I've seen of the anime and read of the manga. I'm guessing she's meant to be an unseen character, like the Little Red Haired Girl in Peanuts. Or [from what I've read so far in VIZ's edition] the father in Hunter X Hunter, who's always one step ahead of Gon.

Only in a photograph and her face was shadowed. I think it's safe to assume that she probably looks like an older version of Maka.

Well AS announced earlier in the year that their picking up 3 new series this year. 1 was FMA: Brotherhood, the other show I never even heard up, and the 3rd is rumored to being the final Inuyasha OR Soul Eater.

But seeing how Nicktoons now has DB: Kai and Disney XD has Naruto, I wouldn't be suprised if Soul Eater ended up on one of those channels either.

They just announced Kekkashi, so there's only 1 series left. I think Soul Eater could work well, but in the mean time, 1/2 of the series is out on DVD at the moment, so fans have options and will get the whole series either way. I imagine Funi is open to another network optioning it too... the only thing I could see needing major edits would be the cat lady witch, and some blood, things some networks might not mind if it's broadcast later at night.

I find Liz and Patty as guys to be strangely enjoyable.

Blair just seduced the seduction-demon... Win.

I do wonder if the author has a thing for video-game inspired worlds. First RE5 and now Dante's inferno.

So we'll get to see which one of these characters is the horniest huh. That should be fun.

I'm really enjoying this mission.
