Seeing how he's seen and talked to Stein a fair amount of times and hasn't noted the asymmetry of having one screw on one side of his head? Yeah, you're the only one.

Oh course, that could be due to the fact that his paralyzing fear of Stein(which everyone except Black Star shares) renders his OCD moot.

    Two new chapters are out.

Nothing much happens but the plot IS moved forward. Interesting stuff is taking place.

I can't seem to like Gopher at all. He's just annoying.

You know, I still wonder what Shibusen's problem with the witches is.

I mean, major headcases like Medusa and Archne is one thing, but apparently they can be locked up for life or executed for, well, being witches. Even if they are nice witches who throw parties and run cabaret clubs. Which is a bit concerning seeing as it's implied to be a race rather then a profession. oO

Supposedly, it's because the Witches have this innate destructive instinct which awakens at varying ages; personally, I think this is misinformation, not borne of propaganda or racism, but due to an inadquate understanding of witches. Hell, even Shinigami admits that he doesn't know much about them, which attests to it further. I think it's just a classic case of "power corrupts" and Shibusen misinterprets that as an inherent trait to any mage(sans magical animals like Blair). After all, Kim and Angela are good examples and Shinigami nor the faculty have a problem with them. And yes, it's pretty much stated that SE witches are a separate race from normal humans.

I'm curious to see Mabaa/the Grand Witch appear since she's supposed to be equal in power to the Kishin and Shinigami. I also wonder if she'll take her left eye back from Free.

So, the Book of Eibon is basically Dante's Inferno? That's interesting.

    Also, gender-bending!
    WOOHOO! ^^

I like that they didn't just change genders, but apparently took the appearance of the kind of person they themselves find attractive.

Nope, all that was said about the one remaining was that it was someone Kid is familiar with.

Eibon was a warlord.....Noah or whatever his name really is is just some collector that takes the hobby WAY to seriously.

and that's coming from someone that used to have around 150 still in the blister pack action figures hung on his walls.

Do any of you think they should do a second Soul Eater
anime series to adapt the rest of the manga?

    Opinions please.

It depend on how well the manga does currently in Japan whether they would go for it or not. Also, they need to give some time to the manga so the new anime won't have to worry about catching up. But yeah, I would really like to see another soul eater anime.

The problem with making a second Soul Eater anime is they can't make it a continuation of the first since it deviated too far in the end, but a remake would be difficult because almost 3/4 of the current anime is already a very faithful adaption of the manga.

Should a "filler" episode taking place after the end of the first
series be done in such a way that it could dovetail with where the
    manga had been cut off?

    What do you think?
