so what... Variants are one of the worst things about comics.
    Finish All-Star Batman.
No one responds to street art anymore.
People tend to respond to things like loaded guns in their faces.

I´m not that much into variant covers but I have a soft spot for Jim Lee related stuff. I´d like to get it.

I hate that he keeps coming out with variants but doesn't finish the book he is the ongoing artist on.

I'm not saying that I won't buy or that I don't enjoy seeing it, but he really should work on projects he already started.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

And either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives.

yumph - it's the dog/tick relationship that publishers like marvel and DC keep perpetuating, throwing side-work to artists who can't even finish a monthly (J Scott Campbell, Cassaday) so they can keep collecting a paycheck

and say things like "pushes forward with his artistic endeavors."

    super lame.

I'm just waiting for the announcement that reads, "Comic-book artist draws comic books!" Maybe I should talk to The Onion.

(I did pre-order his variant to Brian Wood's DV8 tho... I felt bad about it, but it's Brian Wood, so...)
