Just read in an interview with JMS on Newsarama. He and Weston are back on track to finish it.
Good news.

The Twelve?
Is that how many months pass between issues?![]()

Actually, based on that Newsarama interview, it looks like it's Marvel's approach to events that's driving JMS away. Apparently there's a big crossover featuring Asgard coming up, and he may not want to be there for it.
Ughhhhhhhhhhhh JMS thinking of leaving Thor? JG Jones designed characters? I might actually have to buy a DC book now.FML
Things dont look so positive on Westons end

For a 12-issue miniseries, it was a pretty good 6-issue miniseries.
Kind of a shame they never finished the story, really. But then, that goes for a lot of the CrossGen titles, too.
.
Really hope this mini gets back on track as it seems like JMS has one story and Weston another.
I've found the Twelve to be an interesting character study but not much of a story. It's a solid read but I'm waiting to see something happen.
...Personally, I've enjoyed the ride so far, and actually wish it was a regular, continuing series under a writer who's a) able to adhere to a schedule, and b) has enough of an understanding about life during WWII to be able to write nearly a dozen characters all now suddenly uprooted and deposited almost 3/4 of a century in the future. This was an aspect of Captain America that except for some of John Byrne's stories never really did focus all that much on, with the logical reasoning being that since he's Captain Fracking America, he's adapted with little to no problems at all. The Twelve - or, as we already know, the Eleven - are by no means Captain America. You've got nearly a dozen individuals who've coped and not-coped with the Rip Van Winkle Syndrome, and it would be another hell of a ride to watch how they continue to develop in our current world.
This would be the perfect book to get Roy Thomas back into writing superheroes again, dammit.![]()
