This just in: Chris Sprouse has pulled out of Orson Scott Card.
Why are Power Girl and Supergirl fighting with their eyes closed?

What's with the cover of LOSH #1? Who has both a GL ring and a Legion ring, or do we not know yet? Maybe we'll get a Legion ring promotion as well...
I was looking at Marvel's trade list for May and there was nothing i was going to buy, thought it would be a cheap month. Then i look at DC and a lot of books are advance solicited to surprise my wallet.

Big month for DC. I am lot more excited about these solicitations then I am about Marvels.
"You can't trust them as poets either. The true poet is anonymous, as to his habits, but these boys have to look, act, and apparently smell like poets"
Flannery O'Connor on the beats.
..... aaaand whoever wrote that solicitation just killed most of the interest I had in getting the Brightest Day books. What does BRIGHTEST DAY mean to the DC Universe? Is everything from here on out going to be bright afnd shiny? No, BRIGHTEST DAY means something else entirely, something we can’t tell you...yet. But we can tell you our heroes will need to rise up more than ever to combat the forces of evil, and a select few will uncover a secret that binds them ALL.
It sounds like a combination of Final Crisis and Genesis.

My blog.
We struggled against apartheid in South Africa, supported by people the world over, because black people were being blamed and made to suffer for something we could do nothing about; our very skins. It is the same with sexual orientation. It is a given.
