    Default May Superman Solicits

    http://www.newsarama.com/comics/dc-m...ns-100214.html

So it looks as though all the regular titles (Action, Superman, Supergirl) get put on hold while "War of the Supermen/100 Minute War" is going on. Probably a good move, and it's nice to see the whole thing is compact.

This will ease the pain on my wallet somewhat, given all the "Brightest Day" stuff I have to buy...

So we may get Superman and Batman #700 in the same month.

I hope Mon-El isn't going to be replaced by Superboy. It's not that I don't like Superboy, I just hope they keep Mon-El at least through War of the Supermen.

I really like the descriptions for War of the Supermen. It seems like it's going to be a really fast paced storyline. 100 Minute War, pretty much sums it up.

It's good to know Sterling Gates is going to be on board for War of the Supermen. I was hoping Greg Rucka would have been too, but I'm guessing Nightwing and Flamebird aren't going to be included in it.

Yeah, I was going through my April Previews the other night thinking "Isn't it a shame that they're not both coming out at the same time?". Looks like they may indeed be doing that now.

You know, I actually missed what you wrote first time around about the monthly Superbooks. I noticed that there'd been no Superman #700 solicited yet, but I've only just realised that I hadn't seen a Supergirl solicit either.

Interesting move by DC and not altogether that dumb. It allows those readers who get those titles to be able to afford the weekly War of the Supermen. Nice.

I'll Be getting War of the Supermen.

    And Secret Origin in Trade.

Everything else I can do without.

They need consistent art on the superman titles.
"You can't trust them as poets either. The true poet is anonymous, as to his habits, but these boys have to look, act, and apparently smell like poets"
