I don't know how you came to that conclusion after seeing 3 pictures?

Look, I haven't watched Smallville in years and it's primarily because it's a show that's not set-up for my demographic. Now, that being said, I've watched and enjoyed every Geoff Johns written episode thus far, but this is the one I've been highly anticipating and this interview just does that ever so much more.

The DVR is already set to record this episode tonight and the moment I get home from dinner it's being turned on. Can Not Wait!

Ahh yes, the cranky post from relatively new poster spewing disapproval without any actual reasons why. My favorite kind of poster.

I DVR this show every week, mainly because I love a good trainwreck. It's like the screech of metal when that show comes on.
I will definitely be watching it tomorrow morning.

I've sampled Smallville numerous times over the past several years, and always found it to be lacking.

Tonight's Absolute Justice was just a load of fun. Geoff Johns needs to start creating the DCU television series, and beat Marvel/Disney to the live-action superheroes on the small screen punch.

I wonder, how much influence did Johns' script tonight have on the rest of the season? Is he helping guide the future of the season, or was he tasked to plug certain information in to Absolute Justice?

It hasn't been a train wreck for a while. This is one of the best seasons of the show, if not the best.

Hey, don't take my post too seriously, I was indeed reacting to the 3 pics, which reminded me exactly this. and somehow made me laugh.

No trolling intended here, it's just not my cup of tea. Sorry.

It was a good episode. I can fully see a Dr. Fate spin off show. Lots of references comic fans would catch. Well written as well.

When Smallville first came out, my thought was it was SO far from anything ever presented in the comics that it was just laughable. That, and it was pretty kids standing around being pretty and boring, I wasn't very interested. This episode, wasn't like that at all. Very grounded in the DCU. I get the feeling we'll be seeing "Superman" by the end of this season.

For those that see the outfits and think it's funny or bad, that has a lot to do with comics to live action. Guys in colorful tights don't look normal in live action. Stargirls costume was the most comic-book accurate, and it did come across as kinda jarring. Funny how I never had a 2nd thought about her costume in the comics..but live, it looked silly. Hawkman's "wings" were pretty cheap.

I've never enjoyed an episode of Smallville as much as I enjoyed that one. Thank you Geoff, CW, WB and everyone involved! TOO much fun.

Actually, it seems that live action TV they don't seem to look that great in. With a budget for lighting, well set up camera angles, costumes AND effects, Spider-Man, Superman and the like can all look pretty great.

With last night's episode, Dr. Fate's helmet and what's her name's staff just looked like bad props from a toy department. For example. But I bet with a movie budget, it could all have looked absolutely phenomenal.

Sure, you one can say "But it's TV, it's easier to forgive". On the other hand, one shouldn't write for a medium that can't handle what's required.
