Over the years we have had tons of different versions of this character. Which version do you like the best, earth-one, earth-two, new earth or maybe an elseworlds superman? Why is this Incarnation of superman your favorite?

"I was raised in your shadow. Now, you' re gonna die in mine. No one will even remember your name"-Lex Luthor: Smallville
The well-written and entertaining one.
I really enjoy how Superman was written in Birth Right, it just seems perfect in every way to me.
Right now, the best Superman written is Geoff Johns, hands down. I've read Superman comics for awhile and I've enjoyed Johns the most. I also enjoyed Grant Morrison Superman in All Star. Alex Ross writes a great Superman and gets him, esp in Kingdom Come. I liked Jurgens Superman during the Death arc as well, but Johns is my most enjoyable.
Well, I honestly like the STAS version of the history the best, except for the origin of Doomsday, and the whole dying and coming back to life story having been left out.
If one were to include that whole thing into the Timm-verse I would consider that perfect.
So long as he is not really rising from the dead. Technically if I recall, in the comic it was his body was still alive just healing, and his soul was in the process of crossing over. Jonathan Kent has a heart attack, and find Clark’s soul in an afterlife experience, and is found by Jonathan and they both travel back to the world of the living.
I just thought it was a wonderful story of Pa Kent rescuing him, and having it missing hurts it.
Add that story to the Timm-verse and it would be perfect. To me.
