Well, Smoker and Ace were explicitly shown to cancel each other out in Alabasta (for some reason). Now Akainu is able to burn Ace (for some reason).

magma can smother fire so its more like he negated ace's powers, allowing him to be burned.

Ace.... there is just to much build up around him, he may be dead for a while but he will come back.

That revelation would be really, really pointless if he was done for the series, he'll be resurected like a phoenix or something maybe that's one of Marco's powers.

This is incredible, it really is beyond words... the dead of Ace is something so unexpected, the way the Vibre Card just vanishes is like when you realize one of your dreams is gone.


Oh an Luffy really has to step up his game, he has falied protecting his loved ones twice in a row, first his nakamas, then his brother.

This is a real shame, one of the "worst" moments I've seen on manga or anime.
