I very much doubt he killed Smoker not only because using his power to cut people in half didn't do it, but even if that was a lethal attack Luffy would probably fix it in these upcoming chapters. Hell willpower might mean they can survive without a heart for a hours cuz OP biology is crazy

EDIT: I wonder how long this arc is going to be? Do you think the anime is going to put in filler before or after this island?

Damn! Law and Smoker's fight was freaking awesome and Law impressed hellalot by actually beating a high-level logia, I doubt that Smoker's dead though.

Also. Harpy may be the hottest One Piece woman yet.

I'm really looking forward to the next chapter. Should be good.

HOT DAMN One Piece was on fire this week.

So, that dragon belonged to Vegapunk? So... him and Law must be having some kind of superscience team-up.

And that weird thing the harpy was talking to... the face shape reminded me a bit of Basil Hawkin's scarecrow form, though it's a bit different.
I mainly theorize it might have something to do with him due to the fact he was the one last seen facing Brownbeard, which would explain how he ended up working for Law.

Kick-ass chapter though how did Law take smokers heart? Haki? Or was the ice infused haki lol? I thought that's the only way to hurt Logia's.

Considering Law's ability to remove body parts still leaves them functioning, why would removing Smoker's heart, as he did, actually stop him?

I think taking your heart weakens you. Smoker certainly seemed slumped over at the end there.

I wonder what sort of greeting Law will have for Luffy. Seems pretty obvious that Luffy is his usual excited self but will Law attack? Will Luffy be upset or starry eyed at the idea that his crew has been mind switched? They aren't hurt per se merely switched.....

And the weird reed / plant thing in the island......I wonder......if it's Vegapunk.

I wonder how well Sanji will be able to fight in Nami's body? Haki should carry over but he'll have much weaker legs. Seeing all 9 of the characters have to try and fight like one of the others while in their body would by a great OVA

I don't think that Sanji uses Haki (yet). He seems to be more brute force, fire and Geppou.

I wonder what the implication behind Smoker's comment that Tashigi's Haki isn't strong enough to take on the likes of Law yet means. Does he think that strong Haki would protect you from it, or that the precog would just let you avoid the attacks in the first place?

Maybe it would have allowed her to avoid his attack somewhat like the detection Haki.

The armor effect of Armaments haki might protect you from getting cut up. Though obviously Smoker's haki wasn't enough either, so I don't know.


Still crossing my fingers that someone this arc will make Zoro fight seriously and we'll get an explanation of what Asura really is.

I'm thinking that Law did more than just cut the heart out. He mentioned a different technique name and the heart is inside a see-through block, so maybe it's sealed away and that's why it's affecting him like it is.

It's an interesting situation isn't it?

On the one side there's a guy that saved Ruffy's life and who's fought side by side with him. On the other side there's one of Ruffy's most persistent antagonists, a man determined to see Ruffy and his crew locked up forever. But the first guy is a pretty damn shifty bastard who may be involved in child-abducting and the other dude is a real stand-up guy.

And I'm still certain that Ruffy will find his crew having their personalities switched to be hilarious.

Law is looking kind of creepy there.

Drake is interesting as he looks really happy there. Maybe he dreamt of becoming a marine as kid and then discovered something heart-breaking about them.

Hawkins apparently never had a sense of humor.
