Looks like Garp might have just handed in his resignation.......

This does kinda clear up a nagging thought I kept on having in the back of my head for the end of OP....I kept on wondering how the WB & Ace side would interact with the Luffy side of " I want to be Pirate King." I was always wondering if maybe...the big final fight would be the brothers against each other for the title ....

Guess not.

I still hold out on the theory that Marco does something crazy to fix things, somehow, but dies as a result.

This... is sad. Very, very sad. Man, the look on Luffy's face.

I wonder how this will effect Luffy for the rest of the manga. Maybe this will be the catalyst for him to finally grow up and stop being a kid. He'll probably spend the next three years training before the New World which will account for the time skip. The one thing that was somewhat pleasing in this chapter was seeing Buggy all enraged over Aces death. It's good to know he cared.

Actually, considering we don't know who Dadan is--I suspect he's the guy who Garp had train them, though--Ace is most likely a permanent goner.

Dropping mysterious--to us--hints about someone from the past is a pretty bad sign.

Weird. I just thought Dadan was just a "pet" name for Garp. Like how some people call one of their grandfathers "Pop" and a grandmother "Meemaw".

Well, to honor the death of Ace, I've decided to take up a new avatar. I'm going to try to keep this avatar until either One Piece ends, or Ace comes back (which probably wont happen) if I can. It shall be my new definitive avatar (well, actually, I'll probably make my own Ace avatar to replace this one in a while, but for now, this is good).
