The problem lies in getting there as most of the are kind of useless on the sea without the others to back them up.

Whitebeard is still a beast. I kind of like the relationship between Logia fruits. It makes it more in line with the other two kinds of fruit.

I'm going with Kizaru. He's funny, and his goofiness doesn't keep him from using his powers very well. His introduction was one of the most badass and epic villain moments in One Piece, especially in animated form.

Same here. I love how casual he is. And Light is one of my favorite elements for a Logia too.

Interesting about how elements work. It kinda makes sense, since fire can't hurt magma, which is already heated into a molten form.

i was rather disappointed in this week's issue. i didnt like the way oda made luffy and ace stay back at akainu's taunting. and
spoilers:

with ace's apparent death...this entire rescue felt like a waste. i guess this is the type of story line i expected from naruto and bleach, but not one piece. oda'd better deliever.

Even if you didn't like it, it is still in-character for both. They're both hot-headed, impulsive, and stubborn, so when Akainu started making despairing remarks about Whitebeard, the crew, and everything they accomplished, Ace would stay back and start a fight with Akainu to defend his family.

And Luffy, after seeing the literal Hell he went through just to rescue his brother, wouldn't run away and leave Ace alone.

the other comparison's don't match up the way lava and fire do though...

like akainu said there's a relationship between lava and fire which is what allowed him to hurt ace. i'll have to check the numbers but i assume that once something becomes molten magma it's a hotter temperature than a standard fire.

i like to think of it like this: say i'm one fire. then i jump in a volcano. now i'm not just on fire i'm on fire at temperatures that melts rock into liquid.

....hope my round about way of thinking makes sense....
