What I really meant (and should have written) was that I think Vampilee will be around for a long long time.
I think her transformation from Carrie Kelly wannabe to failed True Blood/Twilight/Vampire Diaries cast member will last as long as vampires are at the forefront of popular culture (as they are now).
I don't think that will change any time soon. . .

I definitely prefer her to her original incarnation from Silvestri & Lee's UXM days.

No, The Zombie Fad was before the Vampire Fad.

Zombies are coming back... there's The Walking Dead TV series, that movie with the guy who played Superman, and The CW's even considering a pilot about a couple of sisters living in the middle of a zombie apocalypse for this fall. *long, awkward pause* But mostly The Walking Dead thing.

I am of the opinion as long as she has the vampire weaksauce weakness her character is doomed to stagnation.

There are very few Sucessfull vampire comicbook character, they have little to do with the X-men or their mythos or history.

Turning her into a vampire is as out of place as turning Guy Gardener into a vampire or Cassandra Cain, or Wasp.

I say, Give the Character back her mutant powers and Human nature, have her grow and develop along the lines of its current path. A Team leader and Tactician.

Develop her Conflict with Emplate, Bastion. Explore the fact that she has lost so many team mates, Have her deal with that.

Would she Cross a Line to bring them Back, OR cure them (Synch and Skin were last seem as TO zombies) or Protect them.

The fact is that Jubilee has not been what she originaly debuted as in a very long time.

Yeah. Both Illyana and Doug came back, which is something I definitely never saw coming.

The hurdle will be whether or not the editor at the time wants to stick with the whole "Decimation" thing.

Truth be told, I don't hate the vampire idea completely. Sure, it's a "make lemons into lemonade" approach just like Wondra was (which I was also cool with). I love monsters and I love Jubilee. However, they haven't shown me any variation of this take that I've actually found fun to read about. Hey, maybe the third time's the charm, though.

Actually besides the eyes, and the fangs and the shorter Hair how is she all that diffrent from her depictions as a New Warrior?

Agreed, she looks pretty much the same as she did in New Warriors to me.
