Has anyone read or heard even a solid rumor about Jubilee's fate? I know she was removed for "editorial reasons" but is she gone for good? And if so why? I thought the Wolverine and Jubilee miniseries did well. Or is Marvel giving Wolverine all the credit for the mini's success? I adore this character, she is one of the few reasons I came back to the X-Men as a reader. If she's not coming back, there is nothing going on that will keep me reading the books. I might stick with Uncanny X-Men and X-Men because of Storm and Cyclops.

Cyclops, Storm, Jubilee, X-23, Sage, Threnody, Gambit, and Dr. Nemesis!!!
Cyclops is not the new Magneto... he would not waste his time with Rogue.

I don't know about her being gone for good but theres a chance she might appear in that Rulk meet's the Forgiven and theres those Legion of Monsters storys that come every october(sigh) so there still hope for her in other non x-related issues and it might have to make another appreciation thread in the marvel section

I'll just leave the solicitation for Hulk that Scratch Fan was referring to.

General Ross is being haunted by ghosts from his past, but WHOSE ghosts are they? Red Hulk wants answers, but so do . . . RAIZO KODO and THE FORGIVEN?!?! Does salvation lie in the hands of the LEGION OF MONSTERS?

Thank's Herring i forget witch number was it. My biggest dissapointment in the whole curse of the mutant's is that the vampirism didn't give back Jubilee's mutant powers back giving she was turn by Draculas son that she would have special powers like all off the people that Drac himself have turn but no all she has combat skills from Logan but i guess it's better than nothing.

I'd like to have seen it somehow lead to her eventual repowering too. Though she does seem to have a lot better showing in fights than the generic vampires, and seemed to have vastly better strength in that Wolverine and Jubilee mini. There was also the whole mist form thing from her mini, which I would have liked to see expanded on.

She's also apparently got a much higher tolerance to pain than Janus (Dracula's other son)

Harden up Janus! This is how it's done:

Heh, love that sceen, it's a shame she left the team but with the coming of the firery chicken(Pheonix) i don't want her to be a casualty because some writer don't like her as a vamp and dicides to fry her into ash for shock value. If the forgiven get's a series i can see her and Quickshot having a brother-sister bonding since dispite his age he acts more of a kid than the rest of the group.

Well... the preview to Hulk #51 is up... with the Forgiven being of center focus in the pages shown. Jubilee is nowhere to be found. ugh.
If Marvel decided to take Jubilee out of the X-Men to place her with the vampires... they are sure doing a crappy job.

Wow, that's a bit of a editorial fail. They could have got some x-readers buying hulk if they were more coordinated. And it's about this "penance pool", which they talked about sending Jubilee to in x-men 24. So it would make sense to include her (not to mention my opinion of the rest of the forgiven - they've got the collective charisma of a door stop :p).

Though to be honest I don't like the idea of them having some magical pond that makes vampires not evil. I'd prefer Jubilee to control herself through force of will rather than some plot device.

Hey there, Jubilee fans. The other day at my LCS I noticed they had a couple copies of a Jubilee trade by Kirkman. I had no idea such a book ever existed and its got me a little curious... Is this a series worth picking up at all?

I just reread it a few weeks ago for the second time since it came out, and it didn't age particularly well to me. It's a quirky little story that has it's fun moments. Not a lot of action in it (until the end), mainly just a high school drama series. It was cool to see Jubilee on her own for a while and away from the X-Men, but it reminded me why I liked her with the X-Men so much. Given her personality and snarky charm, there were some pretty funny moments and dialogue. The art was a mixed bag for me, and they really overplayed her Asian features (it seemed liked she was squinting throughout the first few issues). I wish Casey Jones (cover artist) had did the interiors cuz the covers were pretty amazing. I'd recommend reading the first issue and see if you like it. If it's cheap and you really love Jubilee, def pick it up, but go into it knowing the flaws.

The Jubilee series by Kirkman was an 'all-ages' title... meant to attract more female readers to the franchise. Basically, Jubilee plays 'side character' to the other people in the series... her Aunt Hope, butler Brad, Shane Shooter, and several others have just as must focus in the title as she does. Also, Jubilee, while on panel, downplays the effectiveness of her powers. She says she can create a cheesy light show or something like that.
It didn't seem like the Jubilee we know and love- moreso a female character that was meant to fit the mold of attracting female readers.
Nonetheless, there are a few fight scenes, some lovely art, and some funny moments of dialogue.
