I watched The Expendables 2. The first film was enjoyable and the intent it had was understandable. Expendables 2 felt like a one was enough two is too many situation.

Arn – The Knight Templar This started good, but then it went on and tried to do too much. Apparently it's based on a trilogy of books, and it shows. It should have just stopped at certain point even if it meant sequel-bait. Since it doesn't, consequently a lot of subplots and supporting just appear and vanish without satisfaction. Some of fight scenes are good but others are too short. And we're supposed to believe that 20+ years go by for some characters yet they barely change at all. On the plus sides, it looks beautiful and has good performances. And it was amusing to wonder "what language will the next scene be in?" Swedish? English? Arabic?

Lockout I like Guy Pearce But him as a Snake Plisken clone didn't work for me. He's just too clean shaven and smarmy to be the badass. Basicly he has to save the presidents daughter, and get her off a space jail. I figured, yeah! hell yeah sounds like Escape from LA but in space, camp fun deluxe. It really wasn't though, the CGI was cheap and the action was so so.

Sitting home with the Flu (yeah I didn't take the vaccine shot b/c as I told myself "I never get the flu"). It isn't contagious through the interwebs, is it? If so...my bad.

Anyways, caught an old Michael J Fox film on some random channel earlier called FOR LOVE OR MONEY co-starring the lovely Gabrielle Anwar. It definitely had that 90s feel, NYC at the time...and well, it was quite comforting considering how Im currently feeling. Hit the spot. Boy gets the girl type of deal. May have to dig through my DVDs for some BTTF goodness.

Just saw The Campaign. It had its moments, but was mostly a typical Will Ferrell flick.

Just saw this as well, and like the first film, it started out fun but got old fast. There are only so many variations of the same gunfight, and only so many 80s pop culture references.

I think you switched up your reviews. You clearly meant Looper was a cool fun adventure and Tron was dreadfully boring.

The amazing spiderman with my brother. Despite trying hard to love it, i couldn't, i'd give it a 5/6 out of 10.
    Tonight: DKR ;) Expect a 10.

the watch. had some good laughs.
Mr. Backlund continued wrestling under the new gimmick of an out of touch, yet highly dangerous, maniac out to teach the new generation a lesson.[3] He often appeared in business suits, had a hyperactive personality, and used (or, often, misused) large words to sound important. He also demanded that he be addressed as "Mr. Backlund". He would only sign autographs for wrestling fans if they could recite the names of all of the US Presidents in chronological order

LOTR Trilogy and The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.

It was my first time seeing LOTR and it was as good as I expected. They were slow but the build up was worth it, really good stuff. The Hobbit was better than I expected, because most of the reviews say its only okay, while it was slow like LOTR when the ball finally got rolling it was a fun ride. My only complaint about The Hobbit is that they used too much CGI (it looked awesome though).

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (2012) - Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States, discovers vampires are planning to take over the United States. He makes it his mission to eliminate them.

Prometheus (2012) - A team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.

The Expendables 2 (2012) - Mr. Church reunites the Expendables for what should be an easy paycheck, but when one of their men is murdered on the job, their quest for revenge puts them deep in enemy territory and up against an unexpected threat.

I found all the movies to be enjoyable.

Anna Kerinina last night. Pretty to look at interesting setting (half the movie took the form of a stage play). But a bit boring and Anna's behaviour was infuriating. Good acting and pretty costumes.

Mulan - I forgot how much I enjoyed the music from this Disney classic. I'll Make A Man Out Of You is one of my favorite Disney songs.

Grave Of The Fireflies - Beautiful animation aside, this is the most depressing movie I have ever seen.I'm fully aware that a somber look at war and how it affects the innocents was the goal, but damn...
