    Who did it become?

And I really like that version as well. I wish they would have kept it for a while longer.

I think its insane that people like that Taskmaster redesign. His classic look is amazing.

Different strokes for different folks. I really liked the over the top, industrial look. I think a lot of Iron Man's armours tend to look a bit too clean and polished.

Honestly, anybody hating on this costume for that boring redesign is not worth taking seriously.

Disturbing, mind-boggling and utterly effective all in one. It suited his scheming personality very well. I loved that dinner scene (s)he had with Doom in his castle.

    Thought I'd bump this...

Some Cap-based costume designs that unfortunately did go away...

Both these designs are ACE. Sadly, Olivetti's designs were kinda ignored because Punisher fans took such a hard on of hatred to the arc. It's nice to see Punisher's Cap costume turn up in the Ultimates and in Marvel vs Capcom. Shame the Hate-Monger is back to his purple ghost suit though.

I also think there's something interesting about Steve's Expatriate costume.

And the American Son armour I always thought had a lot of potential. I was pretty excited and then ultimately disappointed when American Son got a mini. It's the type of armour that belongs on someone from Cap's supporting cast, not some Osborn sprog.

Anyway, I post all these because I think they're actually all pretty viable to be repurposed for the current age. All 3 of them could be given to William Burnside, or the American Son could go to Walker, or the Expatriate could be used for a generic Captain America ideological baddie (like the Captain from Secret Avengers). They're all quite simple but effective designs that deserve a place in Cap's book somewhere
I'd just like everyone to know that not only am I dropping Marvel, I'm dropping this forum considering I'm not even allowed to voice a negative opinion because a thread "isn't about me".

But keep my green Hulk shaggy haired and with eyebrows!

McFarlane's Hulk surpass every others because he really look like a freaky, diformed monster. CAuse when you look at Hulk he's really just a big green guy. But McFarlane really made him look like a monster. They should use that model and just color him green.

I think there's a certain distinct lack of Avengers pride.

X-Men all have X's on their uniform. The FF all had 4's. Even the X-Men and FF members that join the Avengers keep the X's and 4's. No one bothers sporting an A on their uniform.

The Avengers bomber jackets showed a degree of team unity and pride. It's something I wouldn't mind seeing come back.
The Avengers are not the X-Men. Harras giving them that showed he missed the point.

That's a great spread. Awesome visual sense of height and depth. What issue is this from?

Great look for both Doc Ock and Spidey, too. Always loved the Ben Reilly costume.
