I'm sure Ron Marz is a nice guy and all, but everything I read from him during the 90s was crap.
His Surfer run almost drove this lifelong Surfer fan screaming from the title. A less obsessive person would have been long gone.
I hear Marz has written good stuff since, but the memory of his SS run, Green Latrine, and "Thud and Blunder" on Thor is quite enough to even keep me from thumbing through back issues at the store.
