not sure if the article is an ad or anything for something, but it's well written, and is a nice spotlight on the 'current' (I think)? events and goingson in the series. I may check out a new issue when i go to my lcs next time.
Check out my latest review: Iron Man 3
It actually sounds like an ad disguised as an article, but I can say for sure that Witchblade is NOT a cheesecake book. It's a book I've been reading a lot lately and in my opinion Witchblade is one of the best books out there, period. I'm not a big fan of the painted style the book's artist uses, but the story is worth every penny and I can appreciate the artist's effort experimenting with new styles of comic book art.
Well, I did check out the latest issue, and though everything seems as the article said, I could not get past the obvious 'computerized' art. The story did seem interesting, but I could not get past the art. Sry, everyone.![]()
While I admit I don't read Witchblade, it doesn't surprise me in the least that Ron would take a seemingly 'cheesecake' character into the realm of credibility.
In anything I've read by Ron, his female characters have always struck me as being well-written and having strong personalities.
