Ok, not sure if this is the place to ask but thought I would try. I'm interested in picking up the TPB's in order to read the recent events in the X Men Universe. I'd like to start with Endangered Species and go from there. I'm not too interested in crossover minis(unless they are essential), but the main books like Uncanny, Legacy, X force and X Factor (don't know if they're essential) etc.
Is there an order to go or a link somewhere can point me to in which order to read the TPB's or pick them up?
like i said I'd like to start with Endangered Species and go from there.
Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks guys

If you're looking for the TPB's here's how I would group them together...
Endangered Species
X-Men: Blinded by the Light (it leads into Messiah Complex)
Messiah Complex (first part of the "Hope Summers trilogy"...includes Uncanny, X-Men, X-Factor, and New X-Men issues)
*After this the X-Books go their separate ways for a little bit before and after Messiah War*
Messiah War (second part of the "Hope Summers trilogy"...includes X-Force and Cable issues)
And the last part of the Hope Summers trilogy will be starting soon in Uncanny, Legacy, X-Force, and New Mutants in the next couple of months and is called Second Coming.
After Messiah Complex, X-Factor can be read separate from the other X-Books since they don't really interact with them as much. Here's a list of TPB's of X-Factor's after MC:
X-Factor: The Only Game in Town
X-Factor: Secret Invasion
X-Factor: Time and a Half
X-Factor: Overtime
Also right after Messiah Complex, the X-Men move to San Fran and then to Utopia after a battle with the Dark Avengers:
Uncanny X-Men: Divided We Stand
Uncanny X-Men: Manifest Destiny
Uncanny X-Men: Lovelorn
Uncanny X-Men: Sisterhood
Dark Avengers/Uncanny X-Men: Utopia
Uncanny X-Men: Nation X (out in March)
X-Men turns into X-Men: Legacy after Messiah Complex and follows Prof. X and then Rogue:
X-Men Legacy: Divided He Stands
X-Men Legacy: Sins of the Father
X-Men: Original Sin
X-Men Legacy: Salvage
X-Men Legacy: Emplate
X-Force becomes a black ops X-Team after MC:
X-Force: Angels and Demons
X-Force: Old Ghosts
-Missiah War-
X-Force: Not Forgotten
X-Force: Necrosha (out in April)
A third New Mutants series has started recently and is going to be involved in Second Coming if you wanted to check that series out as well. It stars most of the old New Mutants team members from the first series.
Another Cable series started as well after MC and follows Cable and Hope into the future as they try to escape from Bishop. The series starts at the end of MC and will end at the start of Second Coming.
I hope this wasn't too confusing!
I was re-reading Messiah Complex last night, was it ever established who infected the sentinels with the TO virus?
Not confusing at all Wildways. Thanks for the list. I'll be starting to read these in the near future. Any you would recommend I should us avoid? I'll definitely pick up those X Factors since I've heard so many good things about them.
Also. While I'm in this thread... is there, like, a comprehensive list somehere of who's skills Prodigy has? I know Wolverine, Beast, Shadowcat, Emma... who else?
(God. Emma's skills. He's probably very adept at manipulating people when he wants too. And has excellent taste in g-strings.)
There was supposed to be a whole bunch of other people who bonded with Cyttorak's ruby. What happened to them?
