this revenant was a neo, she appeared in uncanny after revolution before cc used her again in x-treme. it's easy to forget a lot about those issues.
and i'm counting 1, counting 2, counting 3...
I have a question I have been away from the xbooks for about 4 years now I'm trying to catch up .... I'm reading X-Force 8 right now and Angel is all mean and Dark going back and forth from Angel to Dark Angel ... I remember back when I read regularly around Uncanny 300 Warren had the Archangel persona pretty much in check.
My question is why now is he so crazy ... is it just a different writing style from then to now or did something else happen to him

Do you mean X-Force #8 from 2008 by Kyle & Yost?
Angel actually gets a lot of development in relation to his abilities and the Archangel persona throughout the rest of the 90s and early 00s after Uncanny #300. Some time after the Age of Apocalypse, he regrows his original wings and becomes only a reserve X-Man, moving into an apartment with Psylocke. He returns in the early 2000s in Uncanny #394 and soon after, around #410, loses his blue skin coloring. During this period, he discovers a new healing ability and begins dating Husk.
When X-Men ReLoad happened in 2004 after Grant Morrison left the X-Books, Angel and Husk had left the Xavier Institute and were helping all the mutants worldwide with their foundation Mutants Sans Frontiers.
Angel's Death persona began rearing its head in the pages of X-Force after Rahne is brainwashed with a trigger to tear off his wings.
Yeah, that was the crux of it. The entire time, Angel wasn't "over" what Apocalypse had programmed in him. Having his wings ripped off reactivated a lot of the programming that had been done with Apocalypse's Celestial technology. And it was by design, the Purifiers wanted Warren's wings specifically because they had what they called "the Apocalypse strain" genetically programmed inside them.
Pretty much, the trauma of having his wings amputated, again, reset that genetic programming, and took him back to where Apocalypse had put him. There's a whole thing about it in the FAQ thread.

Thanks you guys I think I get it now. That trauma pretty much rebooted that evil programming.

Yes.
No. the first time prior to the JGSHL opening was in Part One of "Second Coming", when Cable and Hope return to the present day at the school, and are immediately attacked by Bastion's forces, specifically The Right.when was the last time we saw the old xavier institute? in legacy when emplate killed some construction workers there?

Thanks i gotta check out that FAQ more often. I wondered what Omega level was....
Scenrio: Legion basuically have all these powers but is just so mentally unstable. I read him as someone having a basic power (reality morphing) that comes pout in many many forms such as mulitplie copies of himself to being superadaptive. Now if Legion took the same pill that Starman (over in DC ubniverse) takes to stabilize his condition do wwe see a POWERFUL being able to do anything and everything? Shoot isnt that Franklin Richard powers to do anything he thinks? Tio me they have the same power but Frankilin is just stable.
Why does Nemisis wer that mask again and is he a new character? I know he chased Nazis and been around but has he really been around in comics? I doubt it bwecause I would most likely hgeard of him as he is intriguing.
The blood on Laura Kinney towel was most likey due to her time in xforce right?
:o
Our dilemma is that we hate change and love it at the same time; what we really want is for things to remain the same but get better.

Doc Nemesis is a way old Sub-Mariner villain whose back-story has been slightly retconed to make him more of a good guy. In terms of publication history, he predates nearly all of the X-Men. The mask thing is likely just an affectation, although it may have to do with the 'weird science chemicals coursing through his body. Mostly it's just there to let people know he's a real doctor.
Dang the writers really dig the crates for that one. Always wobdered how one can keep up with a character history.
Sidenote, I really been enjiying Shinobi Shaw recently. Mainly when the White Queen dealt with him. The artwork was not to my liking though. Well I'm about to read quarantine! Oh whats an e.v.a. clone. And Teon is basically an emgaced human huh?

Hi there, I just finished one of the x-men novels (dark mirrors) and I was wondering if the novels are cannon or not, does anybody know?
Thus do I write the first chapter of my new scripture. And the first verse is "Let it all burn."
