I know plenty of people involved with the Iron Man movie. I don't think this would take even as long as it did to completely discredit his bullshit story (that he's been pushing for years) about having a character named after him in Star Wars.

But it's so fricking stupid I can barely bring myself to ask them.

"Hey, did you guys intentionally put a well-known tech industry figure in your 200 million dollar movie, someone that is easily identifiable as being the "Oracle of ORACLE", as a tribute to a deabeat piece of shit no one's ever heard of who left no impact on comics whatsoever and who is mostly known to the eight people who subscribe to his crappy APA?

    No?

    Wow, what a surprise."

So if I read this correctly, Rick is back to blaming Dave Lanphear for everything? I'm not sure what he's trying to say. His blog reads like someone vomited virtual alphabet soup all over the screen... just random letters and bits of saliva sticking to the internet.

If he is blaming Dave again, I can only speak for myself when I say, Dave is a class act and deserves none of the guilt for the disaster that was Tightlip Entertainment.

Meanwhile, I am moving further and further away from the BP oil spill of the comics industry.

I just had a review of Noggle Stones printed in the Midwest Book Review, both on their web site and in their print magazine. It's a brief overview with a "highly recommended" tag at the end. It's down the page a bit in the "Fiction Shelf" section.

Not a huge deal, but I'm pretty proud of it. It's my first review in a print magazine. Hopefully this month will also see a Noggle Stones card game. And I'm in the early discussions with a few indy studios about a film adaptation based upon my screenplay.

Noggle Stones is my young adult fantasy novel. It's available at amazon.com, barnes&noble.com, buy.com, etc. You can also order from your local bookstore.

Lots of info and artwork (some by Ernie Colon!) at my web site.

I can send you a comp copy, if you like. Just let me know.

After reading the review, I think I'm going to have to get a copy.

Just popping in to say that Tom Stillwell will love tomorrow's edition of TONY'S ONLINE TIPS.

As for the Vile One's comment about Gail sporting a mustache, well, it's true.

In crumb-catching solidarity with me, Gail has, indeed, grown a mustache and, much as with everything she does, Gail rocks it!

In crumb-catching solidarity with Gail, I have dyed my hair red and grown a set of, ah, naughty pillows. I'd post more, but I'm too busy playing with them.

Well, of course you FRONTED them. If you BACKED them, they'd be Naughty Seat Cushions!

    Nope. Olney.

And Free Willy? That's about Olney too. How he jumps above crumb catchers and tokens in the hobby and business that is comic books.

Every time someone said 'whale' in Casino? Olney.

The killer whale killed in Jaws 2? Olney.

That Star Trek movie where they come back to save the whales? Olney (and the whales is a metaphore about how missing Olney's birthday is what's wrong with the industry and business/hobby of comic books and a way to save it (transparent cash. The way of the future).

It's all Olney, all the time.
